Of course- the preferred situation would be to CALL US if you get bed bugs. We frequently get calls from people who cannot afford bed bug treatments, and want HELP anyway. My advice is to do some DEEP CLEANING. Dismantle the bed & bed frame – clean it with strong disinfecting cleaning solution (Lysol, pine-sol or similar) Remove ALL items from under and around the bed – clean the items (or throw them away – or run them through the dryer cycle) Vacuum – like you’ve NEVER vacuumed before – act like you’re trying to suck the dirt from the room BELOW yours. Change out your sheets, pillow cases, mattress coverings and launder those twice per week. Vacuum any upholstered furniture – deep in the crevices. DO NOT SPRAY WITH REPELLENTS OR BUG BOMBS – those methods only drive the bugs DEEPER into the crevices where they can hide & survive. If you do choose to spray – find a NON-REPELLENT solution. If you are seeing more than 3-5 bugs a day….I am sorry to say that you are probably NOT going to be able to solve this problem without a professional service. Start to save your money – it is better to save up and wait a few months to hire a pro than it is to rush out and drop $35 in chemicals that are NOT going to work.
